Metallica goes old school at Opera House gig supporting Daily Bread Food Bank

Following the release of their tenth studio record, Hardwired... To Self Destruct, Metallica announced a super exclusive show at Toronto's Opera House on Tuesday, November 29th. Recognized as one of the progenitors of Bay Area thrash, a quarter of the Big Four, and one of the world's best-selling, chart-topping, mind-blowing heavy metal bands, Metallica continues to reinvent itself, and is showing their generosity to Toronto fans, and the community with a benefit concert.

The show at the Opera House, which is an oddly intimate choice in comparison to their traditional setting of sold out arenas, will be a moshpit frenzy and tribute to their nightclub roots. Think Kill Em' All-era at The Stone in San Francisco.

Best of all, entire proceeds from tickets will be donated to Daily Break Food Bank, and a bin will be on-site for additional non-perishables you have on hand. Absolutely love the idea.

For Whom The Bell Tolls, what better way to ring in the holiday season?
